Venlo, the Netherlands, 28 September 2006 — The new Océ VarioPrint Titanium line provides a new level of productivity, reliability and flexibility to help users increase their volumes and manage diverse data streams. The Océ VarioPrint 2100 and 2110 Titanium systems deliver record-breaking productivity and extremely high reliability that enable corporate printrooms and commercial printshops to produce higher volumes hour-after-hour in multiple and extended shifts. The Océ DPlink feature ensures plug-and-play integration with existing document workflows. For the transaction printing market, the Océ VarioPrint 3070, 3090 and 3110 Titanium systems have the flexibility to transform virtually any data input into a high-velocity stream of documents.
· 106 images per minute and industry-leading reliability · Up to 100 percent higher productivity than competitive systems · Unattended printing of 20,400 images · Print quality equal to offset · Unmatched environmental friendliness
In an Océ internal benchmarking test the Océ VarioPrint 2110 system produced a mixed batch of print jobs at least 58 per cent faster than any other competition system in segment 6—and in two cases twice as fast as the competition. The new Océ VarioPrint Titanium has a host of leading edge components and tightly synchronised printing processes that deliver another leap in productivity. Many tasks, such as tab printing, colour splitting, inserts and scanning are automated and carried out simultaneously to increase output. Built for non-stop production The new, embedded and 23% faster controller, plus a High Capacity Stacker that can handle 6,000 sheets, are key elements that deliver high-speed, uninterrupted production. With the standard output trays that adds up to a total output capability of 10,500 sheets. The printer can be accessed when the stacker is in operation and the stacker can be unloaded without interrupting printing. All media types and sizes processed by the printer can be handled automatically by the High Capacity Stacker. Industry-leading reliability and low environmental impact The Océ VarioPrint Titanium takes reliability to a new level and provides rock-solid performance for long print runs and multiple shift work. It has very low environmental impact as well. It meets U.S. Energy Star and Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) requirements. The Océ VarioPrint Titanium produces virtually no emissions (e.g., ozone emission is = 0.001 mg/h) and runs very quietly. It is compliant with the European Reduction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive (2002/95/EC) and it already complies to new environmental legislation that will become effective in several states in America in 2007. The Océ VarioPrint Titanium family is available in Europe now and will be available worldwide by 1 November 2006.
