Brentwood June 19, 2006 - Signage specialist, Valentine Signs, has increased its capabilities and productivity following the installation of an Océ CS7070 and a Jeti® 3300.

 

Operating across sites in Manchester, Nottingham and Preston, Valentine Signs is using the Océ printing systems to offer a wide range of signs, meeting the demands of a diverse client base.  It is a major player in digital print within sign manufacturing, one of the fastest growing sectors of sign production.

The Océ CS7070 is an affordable, high-quality inkjet printer that can print onto rigid substrates or flexible roll media.  The Océ CS7000 Series printers offer true 600 x 600 dpi resolution at production print speeds.  They use Océ IJC700 UV curable, pigmented inks, which produce vibrant high quality output with an outdoor durability of up to three years.  The printers are ideal for producing indoor and outdoor point-of-sale signage, vinyl and textile banners, exhibition displays, window graphics and more.

 

The Jeti® systems are quickly becoming popular super-wide solvent printers, and with an ability to print high quality images up to 3.2m wide at speeds up to 58m2 per hour, the Jeti® 3300 is one of the fastest super-wide printers currently available. The Jeti® 3300 can print to a variety of substrates including reinforced vinyl, pressure-sensitive vinyl, canvas, fabrics, mesh and paper. The solvent-based inks offer ultraviolet (UV) durability of up to three years depending on the substrate and the environment in which the print is used, finishing will further extend the print life.

 

Powered by the Onyx PosterShop RIP, the Jetis have 8GB of storage allowing thumbnail previews of image files. The systems feature unique 4- and 6-colour combination printing at 600 dpi apparent resolution, using three-year durable inks.
