Brentwood, March 17, 2006 – Océ, a world leader in digital print solutions, is announcing the first four UK Print Service Providers for the “Océ Quality Centre” programme at IPEX 2006.
The Océ Quality Centre concept is a perfect example of Océ’s theme for IPEX 2006, “print innovation through convergence”. It is designed to support and promote participating leading-edge printers, who use Océ’s innovative digital printing systems, and are successfully implementing the Océ Business Development Programme in their sales and marketing activities. This is primarily achieved through the supply of Océ Business Development Kits, individual consulting services, instructional courses and Business Workshops.
The "Océ Quality Centre" seal is awarded to companies with a proven track record on the digital printing market. Print providers must also be prepared to expand their service portfolio on the basis of Océ solutions and market their services pro-actively to bring in new business. The "Océ Quality Centre" brand is an indication to potential clients that the provider delivers first-class products and services.
Nick Chalk, UK Manager for the Océ Quality Centre and Business Development programme, said: “Since its launch in autumn 2004, the “Océ Quality Centre” initiative already has 29 print service providers across Europe, and we are delighted to announce the first four UK members at IPEX. This will be another important step forward in the development of the programme and we are looking forward to sharing our innovation, experience and expertise with the new members to help grow their businesses.”
The four companies will be unveiled at a signing ceremony on the Océ stand (G50-51) on Saturday 8 April at noon.
The “Océ Quality Centre” programme is supported by the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF) and the British Association for Print & Communication (BAPC). Mike Hopkins, Regional Director for North England for BPIF and Sidney Bobb, Chairman of BAPC will both be attending the signing ceremony.
