"Océ (UK) Ltd shall provide and maintain conditions and systems of work that ensure the safety and health of employees and others who may be affected by our activities. Safety is the most fundamental aspect of Quality and is an integral part of our Quality policy, management systems and training programmes.
 
Overall responsibility for company-wide safety policy lies with the Personnel Director, who chairs the Health & Safety Steering Committee. Responsibilities and arrangements for implementation are set out in Personnel and departmental procedures.
 
However, every individual employee is responsible for co-operating with management and complying with this policy in every area within their control or influence, and for the safety of themselves and other people who may be affected by their actions or instructions. No-one is permitted to initiate or continue any activity, operation or process which puts people at risk of injury."
