Machines that use solvent or oil-based inks require adequate ventilation.

| Most models are designed for use with dedicated fan-assisted extraction ducting, but in addition there should be adequate ventilation in the room with sufficient fresh air input. Note the vapour density is greater than that of air, so ideally room extraction should be at a low level |

The solvent for each series of inks is different - refer to the appropriate data sheet for details. |

Contact with the ink should be minimal in normal use. Should prolonged or frequent contact be necessary, Butyl rubber gloves are recommended for skin protection and to avoid staining. When using thinners or cleaning solution, wearing safety spectacles, gloves and rubber apron are recommended. |

The liquids are flammable, but not highly flammable. See the individual MSDS for the flash point - the lowest of which is 39oC and the highest is 120oC
