Check EVERY possible route to the point of use. Machines are large and heavy. We want to use a route which is wide enough, but which also is short and causes minimum disruption. Fire exits or disabled persons' access routes may give useful clues. |
| 6. |
See the machine dimensions page for the space required for each model at the point of use. Where the machine can be split into smaller units for access, this is shown on the form. |
| 7. |
Check for obstructions such as radiators, handrails etc. which can reduce the available space in a corridor or stairs. Check the width of the corridor for the final turn into the room where the machine will be located, especially if the doorway has a clear width of less than 800mm, as this will require a correspondingly wider corridor. |
| 8. |
If the machine is a high volume model and is to be located on a false floor (e.g. computer room type) or a wooden floor of uncertain point loading strength, a load-spreading floor plate can be supplied. |

Please ensure that the contact person has a copy of the form to hand when our Installation Co-ordinator telephones to confirm the arrangements and agree the date and estimated arrival time. |
