The Océ VarioStream 8000 family comes in a number of variations, providing customers with the capabilities they need now and an upgrade path for future requirements. The new series consists of three base models: the Océ VarioStream 8550 at 500 2-up A4-size simplex images per minute, the Océ´ VarioStream 8650 at 600 simplex ipm, and the Océ VarioStream 8750 at 707 simplex ipm. The printers operate in simplex, twin and triplex configurations. Among the variations are Twin systems with speeds from 1,000 to 1,414 duplex ipm. Customers needing higher quality for POD output can choose the Graphics Quality setting for finer halftones and images. The unique Enhanced Print Quality feature offers outstanding image quality on a wide range of substrates, and the latest EPQ version is standard on all Océ VarioStream 8000 systems. With Super Cell technology, printers can deliver output with up to 256 gray shades, giving halftones a more photo-realistic look and feel.
