Océ DPS printers
In this guide you’ll find information about the implementation and use of SAP R/3 Device Types. It describes SAP R/3 Device Types in general, the
installation issues and how to make modifications. Customizing may be needed if there is no (standard) Device Type in SAP R/3 for your printer, and/or in order to address certain printer functionality.
 
 
It is explained how to:
  • copy Device Types (e.g. create new ones)
  • modify Print Controls (changing the mapping of SAP formatting instructions to printer commands)
  • add/modify Formats (specifying printer initialization)
  • import/export Device Types (e.g. installation and back-up)
Furthermore chapter 2 provides information about the new List drivers which were introduced with SAP R/3 version 4.5. In chapter 3 you will find an overview of the Océ DPS (PCL) Device Types. The standard included device control features are summarized, and possibilities to modify the DPS Device Types (to address specific device functionality).
