A critical link in office communications “Today’s offices face many document challenges,” says Jorg van der Meij, Océ International Product Manager for the Océ VarioLink systems. “Documents flow through in a variety of formats and require a wide range of media and finishing options. The multifunctional Océ VarioLink systems provide the flexibility to meet these requirements. They produce documents that serve as critical links between people, workgroups, departments and offices.”
Flexible media handling that gives users many choices The Océ VarioLink 3622/4222/5022 handles a wide variety of media, including sizes of A3 to A6 and media weights of up to 210 g/m2. The systems have two standard media trays that hold 1,150 sheets and four optional trays for a total possible media capacity of 5,650. Output capacity is 3,250 (including optional output trays). The systems also support the following finishing options:
- Sorting
- Offset stacking
- Stapling
- Hole punching
- Booklet folding
An easy-to-use system suitable for every organization Océ says that the Océ VarioLink systems are designed to make it easy for even casual users to produce documents. The full color touch screen, which is standard across the entire VarioLink portfolio, guides users through each task. The systems also incorporate an integrated interactive help function and thumbnail previews to further simplify operation.
Environmental responsibility linked with quality “Océ has long had a strong commitment to environmental responsibility,” says Van der Meij. “The Océ VarioLink systems are no exception. They are among the most energy-efficient systems around, while still providing the productivity and quality that busy office environments need.”
The Océ VarioLink 3622 and Océ VarioLink 4222 warm up in just 30 seconds; the Océ VarioLink 5022 in 60. All systems have low ozone and noise emissions, plus full-speed duplex to save paper. The systems are Blue Angel and EPA Energy Star certified.
