Océ's main purpose of sustainability to society is to "create a better future for generations to come" Océ promise a balanced approach for all of our stakeholders.
Océ strive to help protect the environment by doing the following:
- Minimising the impact of our activities on the environment is a key objective of our environmental policy
- Océ products comply with all relevant safety laws, standards and directives in the countries where they are sold
- Océ products are designed with a view to reuse in subsequent life cycles to minimise the need for landfill (Océ has its own asset recovery department)
- Océ recognises the importance of ecodesign, for example in the development of printers with low energy consumption
- Replacing small desktop printers by Océ office equipment (10 vs 1) has a positive effect on the customer's working environment
