New high-volume printer technology
The innovative Océ Gemini Instant Duplex Technology is the key to the outstanding performance of the VarioPrint 6250 high-speed printing solution.
Although over 80% of the work done on high-volume cutsheet systems consists of double-sided prints, all existing systems were designed for single-sided printing only, meaning that each sheet has to be fed through twice – costing extra time and increasing the risk of paper jams etc. But with Instant Duplex Technology, both sides are printed simultaneously – saving time and also ensuring perfect registration and print quality virtually indistinguishable from offset quality.
The VarioPrint 6250 is also equipped with unusually large and flexible paper input and output capacity, allowing it to easily handle A3, A4, RA3, ledger, letter, oversized and custom media plus tabs and inserts via any of its 12 trays.
Total paper capacity is up to 13,800 sheets, which means printing can continue for around 4 hours with virtually no intervention required by the operator.
