Conventional systems are designed for simplex (single-sided) printing, which means each sheet must be fed through the machine twice. But Océ Gemini Instant Duplex technology enables this system to press toner images onto both sides of the paper simultaneously – resulting in greater productivity, higher efficiency and lower costs while realizing offset-like print quality.

The Océ VarioPrint 6250 is the ideal solution for a wide range of environments. It enables commercial printshops to build up their high-volume business by taking on more jobs, working more quickly, and offering higher customer service levels.
It is also ideal for short-run book production, where it offers a high-quality and very cost-effective solution.
High end printing by in house corporate printrooms is another key target market. Here, the new system allows more efficient production of financial reports, corporate information, manuals and technical documentation – with a production capacity of between 600,000 and 8 million prints per month.
High-speed printer with exceptional paper capacity and flexibility
To take full advantage of its high-speed capabilities, the 6250 is fitted with exceptional paper input and output capacity, supporting not only A4 and letter sizes but also larger formats such as A3 and ledger plus oversized and custom-size media, as well as tabs and inserts from any of the system’s 12 paper trays.
Additional paper supplies can also be loaded while printing, allowing production of up to 16,000 prints per hour with minimal operator intervention.
An optional output module is available with a capacity of up to 12,000 sheets.
