Océ Sustainability Report 2004
Océ first reported on its activities in relation to sustainable development, conforming to the guidelines laid down by the Global Reporting Initiative [GRI], in 2002.
That first Sustainability Report was limited to Océ-Technologies B.V., our supply centre in Venlo, the Netherlands. In 2003 the scope of the report was extended to both of our main supply centres, in Venlo and Poing in Germany, and addressed all three dimensions of sustainability, ie people, planet and profit.
The Océ Sustainability Report 2004 marks a further step towards a comprehensive Sustainability Report, by including information about the whole Océ group, including the operating companies responsible for sales and service activities in most of our major markets.

The main purpose of this report is to explain to all of our stakeholders what Océ is actually doing to safeguard its sustainability for the future: the goals to which we subscribe, the policies we have developed to achieve these goals, and the measures we have taken to alert our employees and partners to our goals and to ensure that they work in accordance with our policies.

The report describes the activities of the Océ group during the period from 1 January to 31 December 2004. Printed copies of the report and of other corporate publications, such as the Annual Report, are available on request. The order form can also be used to request printed versions of future editions of these reports.
