Patch installation instructions
1. Download the patch file and save the file on your computer
(Win98/WinMe/Win2000/WinXP/Winserver2003/VistaX86)
2. Create a floppy containing the patch :
- Doubleclick on the saved file (It is an executable which will guide you through the creation process of the patch diskette)
- Follow the instructions on the screen
3. Shutdown the Océ Power Logic Controller
4. Insert the previously created patch diskette in the Océ Power Logic controller floppy drive.
5. Power ON the Océ Power Logic Controller.
6. Wait until the patch is applied : a melody is played (you will hear 2 times a 3 tonal beeps) - it should take about ~3 minutes on a GX280 PC - before the melody is played, a PC reboot will occur - For Systems equipped with a monitor, an error message may pop up on the controller screen : Ignore it and let the process go on.
7. Remove the patch diskette from the floppy drive
Verifying if the patch was applied successfully
1. Make a « Print settings » (Refer to your Printer User manual for more details)
2. Go to the last printout page in the section: SDS - CONTROL PARAMETERS 22-1, the last line is called: Patches installed = ………………………… <value>
Check that « <value> » is greater or equal to 4000000000000
Troubleshooting
• 2 rapid beeps are played when Patch has already been applied • 2 long beeps are played when Patch file is corrupted • Nothing happens or 7 rapid beeps are played when Patch cannot be applied (Wrong Océ TDSX00/TCS400 version)
