The following temporary workarounds proposed should be considered as temporary solutions as it just helps blocking paths of attacks rather than correcting the underlying vulnerability. As soon as an Océ patch is available, it must be installed.
Set the security level to "high" by clicking the red key icon or to "Medium" by clicking the yellow key icon. Then follow the instructions displayed on the screen
Important remark : this workaround is not applicable to Systems without a screen, keyboard, mouse
Either Workaround 1 or Workaround 2 may be applied. Workaround 1 is more restrictive (in term of features available) than Workaround 2.
Workaround 1 :
Set the security level to "high" or "Medium" : this is accessible through Océ Settings Editor/Security menu. Apply the change, then reboot the controller
Important remark : this workaround is not applicable to Systems without a screen, keyboard, mouse
Workaround 2 :
Whenever you want to stay in "Normal" security level, You have to Disable SMB protocol : this is accessible through Océ Settings Editor/View SA settings/System/Connectivity/SMB menu . Apply the change, then reboot the controller.
Important remark : this workaround may be applied to Systems without a screen, keyboard, mouse by means of Océ Remote Logic
