Patch installation instructions
 
     1.   Download the patch file and save the file on your computer
           (Win98/WinMe/Win2000/WinXP/Winserver2003)
 
     2.   Create a floppy containing the patch :
 
           - Doubleclick on the saved file (It is an executable which will
             guide you through the creation process of the patch diskette)
           - a window named "Ardi Version 4.30 (c) Daniel F Valot" opens
           - Put a diskette (not write protected) in floppy drive
           - click on "OK" in the window
           - once the floppy is created, click on "Quit"
 
     3.  Shutdown the Océ Power Logic Controller

     4.  Insert the previously created patch diskette  in the 
          Océ Power Logic controller floppy drive.
 
     5.  Power ON the Océ Power Logic Controller.
 
     6.  Wait until the patch is applied  : a melody is played
          (you will hear 2 times a 3 tonal beeps)
                - it should take about ~3 minutes on a GX270 PC
                - before the melody is played, a PC reboot will occur
                - For Systems equipped with a monitor, an error message
                  may pop up on the controller screen Ignore it and let the
                  process go on.
 
      7.  Remove the patch diskette from the floppy drive
 
 
Verifying if the patch was applied successfully
 
   1. Make a « Print settings » (Refer to your Printer User manual for
       more details)

   2. Go to the last printout page in the section:
       SDS - CONTROL PARAMETERS 22-1, the last line is called:
       Patches installed = ………………………… <value>
       
   3. Consult Océ patch(es) identification here with <value>
       and your Océ Product version and check MS05-011 patch is listed.
 
Troubleshooting
 
    • 2 rapid beeps are played when Patch has already been applied
    • 2 long  beeps are played when Patch file is corrupted
    • Nothing happens or 7 rapid beeps are played when Patch cannot be
       applied (Wrong Océ TDSX00/TCS400 version)
