Show Stopper Award (2001), CADENCE magazine
Océ Engineering Exec® software was issued a Show Stopper Award by CADENCE at A/E/C Systems 2001, a top trade show for the architecture, engineering and construction industries held in Chicago, June 18-21. According to CADENCE, Océ Engineering Exec® software is a product that exemplifies innovation, creativity, simplicity and ease of use, and helps to advance the CAD industry by introducing new capabilities to the market.

Océ Engineering Exec® software is one of 29 products honoured with an Editors' Choice Award from CADENCE magazine. The US-based magazine selected the award winners for its July 2001 issue from among a wide range of hardware and software intended for the CAD industry. Criteria for the award were listed as "innovation, trend setting and moving the CAD industry forward".

The CADENCE article states that Océ "has positioned itself for strong leadership in the wide-format document management and Web collaboration arena with its Océ Engineering Exec® 3.0 software." Océ Engineering Exec® allows wide-and small-format document control and printing at any facility with Internet access. The magazine also applauds the software's wide applicability, mentioning automotive, aerospace, electronics and engineering environments as specially benefiting from the software's capabilities. It says Océ Engineering Exec® saves IT costs and provides the widest possible print document access, since documents can be stored on the software server rather than elsewhere on a network. The software was one of only two document-management software on the list.
