Océ Imagestream is a print data converter that creates standardised ready-to-archive images for further processing. It also automatically extracts index information for the print data, which makes it possible to search for and locate data in the archive.
The fully automated part of the workflow then begins: the index is build in the database via a standard interface. The images, index database and viewer software and then recorded on CD or DVD by the Rimage™ production systems. Sophisticated error recovery mechanisms are in place to catch any problems in the transfer of the data. The CD or DVD is then printed in colour with the information of your choice. And since standard media are used, the resulting archive can be searched on a regular PC.
The solution is engineered to deliver maximal throughput, with full automated operation. And it can grow to keep pace with your future archiving requirements: you can expand to a total of four recording systems.
Functions
- Easy installation: the system behaves like a printer, with document output on CD/DVD
- Pixel-equivalent image output
- Self contained media: data, search system and viewer
- Scalable in performance
