iF Design Award (2002), Industrie Forum, Germany
Recipient of the Industrie Forum (iF) Design Award, the jury particularly appreciated the distinguishing contours of this scanner-printer-copier in combination with its balance in colour. Secondly, the jury specifically mentioned the system's design which can fit comfortably into numerous customer environments. Conducted annually, iF judges over 1000 entries using the following criteria: design quality, degree of innovation, environmental friendliness, functionality, ergonomics, safety and brand value.

Océ's TDS series was selected by CADalyst magazine as one of nine outstanding Best of Show CAD offerings represented at A/E/C Systems 2001, a top trade show for the architecture, engineering and construction industries held in Chicago, June 18-21. The Océ TDS series of monochrome LED wide-format printers, scanners and Océ Power Logic® controller were lauded for features that appeal to all levels of users.

The Océ TDS400 was determined by the award issuers as setting a new standard in wide-format, low-/medium-volume printing/copying/scanning. The jury praised the TDS400's flexible connectivity via a network, ISDN, and/or the Internet, as well as service quality and cost per print (plain paper) and printing speed. They also referred to Océ TDS400's ease of use, environmental friendliness, high quality imaging, high resolution, multi-tasking ability, and upgradability

Specifically recognised for its new design and colours giving the product a fresh and modern appearance, the Océ TDS400 is the recipient of a GIO award. Entries are judged for their technical functionality, ergonomics, environmental aspects, product safety, and originality in product design. In addition, the jury appreciated the system's design which can fit comfortably into numerous customer environments. |
