Venlo, 26 June 2008 — Océ announced that it has received the “Highly Recommended” rating from Buyers Laboratory Incorporated. BLI is one of the leading independent providers of competitive intelligence, testing and reviews for the office equipment industry, and evaluates hundreds of products every year. Only the select few receive BLI’s “Highly Recommended” rating, which is reserved exclusively for devices that deliver outstanding features and offer users the very best. Recently the popular and innovative Océ VarioPrint 6250 emerged from a comprehensive BLI laboratory evaluation with this coveted “HighlyRecommended” rating, plus a certificate of reliability. The BLI Certificate of Reliability certifies that when the Océ VarioPrint 6250 was subjected to a durability test consisting of no less than ten million impressions in a networked environment, the system demonstrated a special level of reliability. According to BLI’s report during the “extensive 10 million-page test… the unit proved to be highly reliable, experiencing a misfeed rate of just one per 333,333 impressions and not a single job from the wide array of complex production-class jobs was produced incorrectly.”

BERTL, a premier source for independent product evaluation reports and comparative analysis, only rarely grants a Beyond 5 Star Rating.

The Océ VarioPrint 6250 is based on Océ Gemini Instant Duplex technology, the only technology in the industry to be able to print simultaneously on the back and front of a page. The system prints 250 duplex A4 prints a minute, making it up to 70% faster than other printers in its class.
