Venlo, The Netherlands, 1 February 2008 - Océ, an international leader in printing and digital document management with activities in more than 90 countries, today published its 2007 Annual Report. The extensive document reviews a range of issues including financial and commercial performance, R&D activities, technological innovation and the role of Océ as a responsible corporate citizen. The annual report will be available in printed form as of mid-February 2008.

“In all respects, Océ is picking up speed throughout the business,” said Rokus van Iperen, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors, as the document appeared online this morning. “Growth is undeniable. We see further expansion of our strong position in the wide format market, where we are making remarkable advances. We see improvements in small format, where we are gaining ground in the office market segment. Our experience in document management services is enabling our customers to concentrate fully on their core activities. And our cooperation agreements with prominent partners such as Fujifilm, Konica Minolta and Fuji Xerox have added distribution power and competitive products to our business operations.”

Océ’s growth strategy: distribution power, product portfolio, operational excellence
The Annual Report focuses on Océ’s growth strategy. Océ’s growth strategy is based on three pillars: increased distribution power, a complete and competitive product portfolio, and corporate operational excellence. Each of these pillars, which are aimed at realizing an improved level of profitability, was strengthened during the year under review.

A further 19% of total revenues came from other European markets while 8% of revenue was generated in countries outside Europe and the United States.

Research & Development (R&D) drives distinctive product portfolio
