The Océ Office Family Driver for Windows includes a postscript and PCL version that gives office workers uniform access to almost any Océ office colour and black & white printer while giving IT staff tools to manage printers more effectively.

 

Easy to install
The Océ Office Family Driver can be installed and used like any other Windows driver. It features easy installation with just a few clicks and support for the Windows 'Add Printer Wizard'. To protect earlier investments of customers the driver is backward compatible, supporting the main Océ black & white multifunctional printers manufactured since 1996. In addition it automatically supports virtually all new Océ office printers and MFPs, without the need to install additional drivers.

 

Easy to manage
Driver management can be a huge headache for IT administrators, who often have dozens of different printers scattered throughout their organisations. Installing just one single driver for the entire printing environment reduces IT intervention and eliminates the possibility of print driver inconsistency. The driver also gives access to really advanced printer options. Users can enjoy enhanced features such as n-up printing to increase the number of pages printed per sheet, stapling, booklet printing and watermark printing. Users can of course also choose input trays and output destinations. With the secure printing option, jobs can be protected by PIN code. Of course, there's support for the renowned Océ Mailbox that saves some 15% print volume in typical offices.

 

Microsoft standards
Users can enable 'Show settings before printing' and thus no longer have to go outside their application to change print settings. A click on the print icon is simply enough to open the Océ printing experience. Established with industry-standard Microsoft driver technology and backed by Océ consistency and reliability, the enhanced user interface looks similar to that of Océ VarioPrint® print drivers, making printing easier than ever. Océ Windows® drivers are Microsoft® certified and support Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, XP Professional (32 and 64 bit) and 2003 Server (32 and 64 bit).
