For the 5th time in a row Océ will attend IfraExpo, THE annual event of the newspaper industry. This year IfraExpo will take place in Vienna. The Austrian capital will host more than 10,000 decision makers and provide an international platform to exchange views and experiences.
 
Affirming its market leadership in digital newspaper printing, Océ is exhibiting a range of technology innovations at the show. The latest development is the Océ VarioStream 9240 for full-color digital newspaper production. With the ability to print full CMYK, one or two spot colors, or plain black & white, the Océ VarioStream 9240 offers a versatile, multi- step color printing concept on a single platform.

 

Océ is producing newspapers in 487 x 320 mm format live at its stand on the Océ VarioPrint 6000 cutsheet printing system. In a configuration which is ideal for printing international editions, the Océ CS650 color printing system is printing covers, and a perfect binder ensures products are finished to perfection.

 

With distributed printing of short runs growing in popularity, Océ is proud to be able to offer a business model with an excellent value proposition, staying cost-effective with print runs as little as just a few hundred copies. Another key ability is specialized targeting – or zoning – of newspapers, and also individualized newspaper production.
